“Iron Man” Main Transformation Pan Production Cel (1994) - ID: jul251214

A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series “Iron Man” (1994). Featuring Tony Stark in mid transformation into Iron Man, the production cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece appears to be a reanimated sequence of the main Iron Man transformation that first appears in the episode “And the Sea Shall Give Up Its Dead.” It appears that the studio originally hand animated the transformation but later did a computer generated transformation that ended up being used in the final episode. Measuring 24”x10.5” overall and with the character image measuring 13.5”x7.5”, the cel is in very good condition with minor surface and edge wear from studio use and handling. The cel is paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
